Multiple wins for Christian Bird Motorsports at Colorado Karting Tour

Two wins, three podiums and one pole position this past weekend.

Liam Letzsch scored a perfect day at the Grand Junction Motor Speedway by taking the pole position, two heat race wins and main event victory.

Taking on the third round of the Colorado Karting Tour, local team Christian Bird Motorsports once again proved to be successful. Taking home two wins, three podiums, one pole position and multiple heat race victories, the growing program solidified their place at the top of the Colorado karting community and will now shift their focus to the next event in less than two weeks' time.

Leading the way on the results sheet was Junior Rotax driver Liam Letzsch who scored a perfect day at the Grand Junction Motor Speedway. Taking the pole position, two heat race wins and main event victory, Letzsch swept the day as he looks towards the end of the year championship points battle. Joining Letzsch on the Junior Rotax podium was Timmy Trostel, who crossed the stripe in the third position, putting a pair of Christian Bird Motorsports drivers on the blocks at the end of round three. Trostel also competed in the Junior 2 class but unfortunately failed to finish.

Colton Timmons added another victory to the team's resume as he was able to take top honors in the Shifter class, scoring another victory in 2019.

"Huge congratulations to both Liam and Colton on their victories," expressed Christian Bird. "We have really elevated our game to try and be the best team in the state of Colorado and this is proven by our results. We will continue to push and provide the best possible program for our customers both regionally and nationally."

Christian Bird Motorsports drivers Dave Williams, Hayden Moody and Quinton O'Donnell added four more top-five results over the weekend. Williams was able to secure a pair of fourth place finishes in Junior Rotax and Junior 2, while O'Donnell added another fourth in KA100. Hayden Moody secured a fifth place result in KA100, but an unfortunate issue in LO206 did not allow him to complete the full race distance.

Bird continued, "While our main focus is on the Colorado Karting Tour, we are looking to take customers to Las Vegas at the end of the year for both the ROK Cup USA ROK the Rio and the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals."

The next event on the Christian Bird Motorsports schedule is the upcoming fourth round of the Colorado Karting Tour at IMI Motorsports in Dacono, Colorado.
