Nearing the midpoint of the 2019 season, Florida based Speed Concepts Racing (SCR) will make the drive north to the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina. Set to take on the second round of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS), six Tony Kart drivers will do battle across four divisions in the hunt for race wins and podium results as they utilize the IAME engine platform at the state of the art karting facility.

“As a team, we always love going to Mooresville,” explained Mike Speed. “The track is one of those places where you need to have horsepower, a good handling kart and a driver that can put everything together. With six talented drivers, many of them coming off strong runs at our most recent event, I think we can leave this coming weekend with a lot of hardware.”

Four drivers will compete in the Junior divisions as Paul Bocuse, Luke Lange, Jace Park and Kyffin Simpson will fight the rest of the field in X30 Pro Junior. Pulling double duty once again, Kyffin Simpson will look to double up as he will also see action in the KA100 Junior class.

Ayden Ingratta, fresh off a few off his best performances of the 2019 season, will be the lone Speed Concepts Racing entry in IAME Mini Swift while veteran Scott Roberts will fly the SCR colors in X30 Masters as they both look to put the Tony Kart brand on top in North Carolina.

Speed Concepts Racing is also turning over their gently used race team equipment. Prepared and maintained in house by the elite karting operation, both mini and full size Tony Kart chassis are available. With the opportunity to have them shipped anywhere in North America, delivered to USPKS competition or picked up at the shop in Florida, any interested parties are asked to contact Speed Concepts Racing.

Taking place at the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, on track action will begin with practice on Friday before two separate race days commence Saturday and Sunday.
