Another weekend brings another event for Team Supertune. Headed from their home base in Indianapolis, Indiana to the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, seven Supertune branded Tony Kart drivers will take on the second event weekend in the 2019 United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS).

With much of their success coming from the Mini Swift category, five Supertune drivers will be looking for the top step of the podium. Kai Sorensen, who has virtually been unbeatable in 2019, will lead the way as he has already claimed multiple race wins and a pair of championships in 2019. Anderson Leonard, equally as quick, will look to take the fight to the final checkered flags while Xander Reed, Lucas Szabo, and Jorge Ortiz will look to put five Supertune drivers in the top-five this weekend. Looking to carry the momentum from Ocala Gran Prix back in March, Ortiz, Leonard and Sorensen scored five of a possible six podiums and will try and go one better in North Carolina.

"We have been really busy the in the first half of the season and this weekend's event is the close of the first half of 2019," explained Ben Cruttenden. "Looking to continue our winning ways, we will provide each and every one of our competitors with the equipment to win, and utilize the momentum from our past results as we head into this weekend and the remainder of the 2019 season."

With five drivers in IAME Mini Swift, two Supertune drivers will enter X30 Pro Junior in Matthew Christensen and John Burke. With both drivers already standing on the podium for Supertune and Tony Kart in 2019 including a 1-2 finish at the first round of the 2019 USPKS, they will look to do it again this weekend at one of North America's best karting facilities.

Dubbed 'The Carolina Grand Prix', Supertune will be challenging for more wins and podiums in the Tar Heel State. Stay tuned to the Supertune social media pages for news, information, photos and results from the event.
