BRP-Rotax and MAXSpeed mutually agree to terminate business relationship

SRA Karting from Canada will take over the business temporarily.

The following is a letter sent from Helmut Vogslam, Head of Rotax Karting, to their distributors on Friday, March 31st, 2017.

Dear Distributor,

We would like to inform you about the mutually agreed termination of the business relationship between BRP-Rotax and MAXSpeed Group, the authorized Rotax distributor in the United States of America and Caribbean, effective as of April 12, 2017.

BRP-Rotax’ karting products distribution has been accomplished since 2011 by MAXSpeed Group. We would like to thank MAXSpeed Group for their efforts in the past years to build up the image of Rotax kart products in the U.S.A. and for their support in the Rotax MAX Challenge.

SRA Karting from Canada will take over the business temporarily. We would like to inform also that the Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) program in the U.S.A. is still on and there will be a 2017 National to qualify for the 2017 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF).

Currently we are investigating the specific US market needs (short and long term) to be able to define an appropriate sales- and service structure which fulfills these needs best. More than ever, we take all issues – technically and business related – very seriously. We want our customers to continue in trusting our Rotax kart engines like they did before.

We would like to make sure that together we support the karting business the best way possible.

Best regards,
BRP-ROTAX GMBH & CO KG
