Late last evening Danny Formal announced that he would no longer be racing for CRG in Europe. Below is what he said on Facebook.

After hearing the news we contacted PSL Karting and team manager Andrew Campbell had the following to say.

"Racing and travelling in America is one scenario, and racing and living in Europe is a completely different experience. Regardless of either situation, the lifestyle is not for everyone. There is obviously still a great relationship between all parties involved during and after his announcement."

As Campbell said it can be tough on North American drivers living and racing in Europe. Especially if they do not have a solid support system behind them. Blame the split on home sickness or blame it on lack of results. One thing is for sure Danny has a lot of talent and when he returns he will be fighting for race wins. We spoke to Danny this morning and he is still unsure of what his racing plans for the remainder of the season will be. He will not be racing at the US Rotax Grand Nationals in Utah, but maybe we will see him back for Pan-Am and the SuperNats.
