Bagheri promoted to the win in Shifter ROK Master

Vicki Brian and Richard Heistand were the leaders early in the 18 lap final of Shifter Master, but as Brian began to fade a bit, Heistand looked for a way around. Brian defended hard and Heistand made contact on his way around into the lead. The move drew the eyes of the officials and in the end it was a one place penalty for Heistand who eventually went on to win on track.

Brian continued to fade and Farshad Bagheri was able to take advantage and move into second, and later promoted to the win after the penalty to Heistand was handed down. Heistand dropped to second, with Brian finishing third.

It was an emotional weekend for Brian, who ran with a heavy heart this weekend after the recent passing of her father.
