100cc Senior/Master: Altzman emerges from final lap scuffle, Silva cruises

For much of the 25-lap final, Kyle Hayner (HRT / Kosmic) led by a substantial margin and it seemed inevitable that the HRT Driver Development pilot would cruise to victory. In the closing laps, however, the Kosmic Kart of Hayner had lost its pace, allowing Colby Dubato (PGR / Ricciardo), Altzman (Ruthless / OTK), and Abby Mclaughlin ( Top Kart USA) back into the mix.

On the final lap, Hayner's lead was erased entirely and the pressure was on. In corner eight, Hayner and Dubato made contact, giving an opening for Altzman to move into the lead with Cooper Becklin and Mclaughlin in tow. Those three would eventually form the podium a few corners later, as the initial front-row of Dubato and Hayner were now well down the order.

Dubato would eventually receive a penalty for his pass on Hayner and Hayner had a starting infraction, demoting both drivers to 10th and 8th respectively.

In 100cc Masters, Jonathan Silva (Formula Works / Compkart) had his hands full early, but would eventually pull away by a substantial margin, beating teammate Travis Firing (Formula Works / Compkart) by 6.5 seconds. Tim Meyer Jr (RPG / Tony Kart) gave Firing all the pressure he could from third.
