Supertune: New Tony Kart Race Team in North America

A new Tony Kart team made their debut at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SummerNationals with a podium result and is set to take the karting community by storm. Supertune will compete at both the ROK Cup Promotions ROK the RIO and the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals with a strong six driver lineup before progressing towards a complete 2019 program. Alongside the race team, Supertune will also launch their engine program to become a full service shop with national level race team, products sales, engine maintenance and dyno services.

“I am happy and excited to be part of the Tony Kart family,” explains Ben Cruttenden. “We have completed countless hours of testing, multiple weeks of on track days as well as several race events and worked with the OTK products as well as factory personnel. I have been welcomed with open arms and look forward to a long and winning relationship.”

Based in Indianapolis, Indiana and owned and operated by former BENIK Co-Founder Ben Cruttenden, Supertune will be exclusive to OTK and the Tony Kart line of products and compete at all major karting series and events throughout North America.

Cruttenden continues, “We are not only a race team, but a full service kart shop. We have inventory of Tony Kart chassis and OTK components and can ship anywhere throughout North America. We will finish 2018 at the two events in Las Vegas, and then begin our preparation for the annual Florida Winter Tour and SKUSA Winter Series down south.”

Just minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the motorsports capital of the world, Supertune's new shop is the home for the Supertune engine department, dyno services and team prep facility. With over 1500 square feet of floor space, a ventilated and climate controlled dyno room is already in place and will be operable within the next week.

“Supertune has already signed five drivers for our Las Vegas events,” adds Cruttenden. “We are confident that we will be able to compete for race wins in each of the three classes we're representing including Mini, Junior and Senior. We have one space left in our program and look to have that filled within the coming weeks. Following the event, we will have several used chassis available and can deliver in Las Vegas, ship to the purchaser or have product picked up at our shop in Indy.”
