Maranello Kart and SRP Racing Team at the opener of the European Championship in Wackersdorf
Maranello Kart and SRP Racing Team will be at the start in KZ with Fabian Federer, in KZ2 with Fabrizio Rosati, Alessio La Martina, David Trefilovs and Brio Hueting.
The first important appointment of the European FIA Karting KZ and KZ2 Championship will get underway in the weekend of May 5th in Germany. Maranello Kart and SRP Racing Team will field their drivers in both categories aiming to run a strong weekend.
More than 100 drivers will be at the start of the first of two races of the European Championship in Wackersdorf. The second round will take place in Italy on June 16th in Sarno. The most competitive category, KZ, will see 25 drivers at the start and Fabian Federer will defend Maranello Kart's colors. The Italian top driver of SRP Racing Team will get to this appointment as one of the favourites to the final win after taking the European KZ2 title in 2011 in Wackersdorf and the third place in KZ last year.
In KZ2, Maranello Kart and SRP Racing Team will field the Italians Fabrizio Rosati (winner of Lonato's Race-1 in DKM last year) and Alessio La Martina. They will also line up the German David Trefilovs (who won the Adac Kart Masters' Race-1 in Ampfing last week), and the Dutch Brio Hueting.
