Team BENIK enters three at United States Pro Kart Series event this weekend
Back to New Castle Motorsports Park.
After a successful Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SpringNationals and several regional karting events across North America in the past few weeks, Team BENIK is headed to the Midwest. Set to take on the final round of the 2019 United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) this weekend, three BENIK branded drivers will do battle at the ultra-fast New Castle Motorsports Park facility just 45 minutes east of the racing capital of the world, Indianapolis, Indiana.
"We have three very talented drivers across two karting divisions this weekend," explained Team BENIK's Nick Mitchell. "With a shot to win and podium in Micro Swift and Mini Swift, we will be working hard to ensure we are at the front of the field and fighting for the results that are deserved for our drivers."
Team BENIK will enter one driver in the Micro Swift class as Asher Ochstein will be in the Micro Swift field and competing in his first race outside of Florida. Looking to gain more experience with each event weekend, Asher hopes to continue to learn and improve with each passing lap. With the focus in the cadet chassis classes, two more BENIK drivers can be found in the Mini Swift class as Michael Costello and Enzo Vidmontiene will throw their hats in the mix.
"We will continue to push our driver development program and advance drivers through the ranks," explained Mitchell. "Several BENIK drivers have gone on to score race wins, championships and level up to cars and I will push to continue that success. This weekend in New Castle is the first of a few race weekends in the Midwest so we are looking to start it off on the right foot."
With the USPKS event this weekend, Team BENIK will be back for the SKUSA Great Lakes event and the SKUSA Pro Tour for the following two weeks. With three event weekends back-to-back-to-back at New Castle Motorsports Park, there are plenty of opportunities to stand atop the podium.
