WKA expands national television presence into 2020

Bridgestone Manufacturers Cup presented by Summit Racing, now shown on MAVTV.

In addition to the previously announced National Television Schedule, the World Karting Association, in a partnership with Live Broadcast Media Group, Inc., expands its coverage to MAVTV this winter. Additionally, the 2020 Bridgestone Manufacturers Cup, presented by Summit Racing Equipment, will be broadcasted Nationally, beginning with WKA's 45th Daytona Kartweek.

Since October the 2019 “recap” coverage of Daytona Kart Week, the Charlotte Karting Challenge have been airing on a number of affiliates across the country and starting in December 2019 the Manufacturers Cup from Newcastle will be broadcast on our affiliates as well, thanks to WKA's Television Production and Distribution partner Live Broadcast Media Group, Inc., (LiveBMG.com), and their work in Karting the past few years.

“Television coverage is a luxury in Karting, and when an opportunity comes to broadcast our great sport, WKA will take advantage of that opportunity if the terms are right.” Stated WKA President, Kevin Williams, “I want to thank the team responsible, Summit Racing Equipment and of course our Production and Distribution partner Live Broadcast Media Group.”
