Fresh off their second Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals victory in the past two seasons as well as a strong showing at the opening round of the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup, the Indiana based Tony Kart branded Supertune team heads to Florida to kick off their 2020 SKUSA Winter Series campaign. Aiming for the top step of the podium across four classes, Team Supertune will enter thirteen drivers at the AMR Motorplex facility on the famous grounds of the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

"It feels like last season just ended," explained Ben Cruttenden. "We have been nonstop testing and racing to get ready for the winter karting programs. Our goal is similar to each and every race and that is to win. We have a solid group of drivers scattered across four classes and several that can fight for wins and podiums."

In the youngest racing class on the weekend, Alessandro Truchot, Marco Romero and Diego Ardiles will throw their hats in the mix in the IAME Micro Swift category as all drivers will be looking for race winning speed. In the Mini Swift division, Supertune will enter three hungry competitors including Christian Quijano who is fresh of a top-five finish at WKA, team newcomer Sebastian Garzon and SKUSA SuperNats podium winner Luis Umana.

The largest contingent of Supertune drivers will do battle in X30 Junior as five competitors will battle one of the toughest classes in karting. X30 Junior frontrunner and 2019 race winner John Burke will lead the way as he is joined by Noah Baker, Mateo Rubio-Luengo and Anderson Leonard, who makes his SKUSA Junior debut. Joining Team Supertune in Homestead will be Hayden Bradley as he makes the switch to the OTK chassis and looks to take advantage of the powerful karting team.

The Ardiles name will be seen in a pair of classes over the weekend as Diego's older brother Andres aims for victory in the KA100 Junior class. Joined by some stiff competition, Las Vegas race winner Jorge Ortiz hopes to keep his hot streak of results going as he kicks off his 2020 campaign.

With drivers hitting the track tomorrow for unofficial practice, two complete race days will commence Saturday and Sunday morning for rounds one and two of the series. Stay tuned to the Supertune social media pages for news, information, photos and results from the Superkarts! USA Winter Series.
