Magik Kart Launches
New brand set to debut at 2019 SKUSA SuperNationals and 2020 Florida Winter Tour.
After months of discussion and preparation, the new chassis line Magik Kart has come to life. Debuting its colors at SuperNationals 23, the Magik brand will focus its efforts in the Pro Shifter and KZ category racing alongside Checkered Motorsports. Debuting the chassis line are pilots and owners Rory van der Steur and Andrew Bujdoso.
Andrew Bujdoso has stepped up to company to take on supplying support, development, and brand exposure. Rory van der Steur with family history in the American Le Mans Series and a dedicated desire to leave an imprint in the motorsports world has partnered in to make Magik Kart a reality.
The Magik brand is focusing its efforts in the L206 and Shifter category where ongoing testing and development will be taken place in order to stay ahead of the evolving karting industry.
“We are thrilled to offer Magik kart to the U.S. market,†explained co-owner Andrew Bujdoso. “A driver and now playing an instrumental role in the innovations of Magik, I could not be happier to be partnered with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic group of karting experts.â€ÂÂÂÂ
Key partners have joined on board to push the Magik brand. Checkered Motorsports will be providing the trackside support for all future customers and Greyhound Seats USA has teamed up with the young company to be the official seat of choice.
“I'm super excited to partner with a very successful team like Checkered Motorsports,†expressed Rory van der Steur. “I cannot wait to get on track and display the full potential of the chassis at the SKUSA SuperNationals.â€ÂÂÂÂ
Expect to see the blue and orange colors up front where Magik sets focus on the Florida Winter Tour during the winter months of 2020.
