The Five: How to Look Like a Pro
Style for days...
Want to look like a pro? Of course you do. No matter your style there is something you have pulled as inspiration from a top driver like Lammers, Ardigo, and De Conto. Maybe you are an older driver and your style comes from the likes of Beggio, Manetti, and Rossi, whatever the case you want to look cool. Style doesn't come easy for everyone so we have five tips to insure you do.

Get a Sick Custom Paint Job
Lets be honest probably the first thing that draws you to a certain driver is how cool their helmet looks. Are you an Arai person or Bell? Possibly you are 1 of 10 kart drivers in the world that rock a Stilo. Are you into chrome or matte? Basic design or complex? This is probably the best way to show off your individual style and separate yourself from the rest of the pack. A few of our favorite helmet painters include Lucky Design, Brett King Design, Koop Kustoms, and Smart Race Paint.

Style in the Pits
If you want to look the part, don't walk around the pits with no shirt on or a ripped pair of pants. Make sure you are rocking a team shirt or a sponsor of yours. That Nike shirt just wont cut it if you want to look the part. If you really want to look pro make sure you are rocking team shorts/pants, shirt, and a hat with nice sneakers.

Keep it Clean
There is an old saying; a clean kart is a fast kart. The pros wouldn't be caught dead rolling up to the grid with oil spray on the bodywork or a dirty chain guard. A trick of the trade, don't use WD40, as it attracts grease and grime. We like using Molecule's cleaner and detailer sprays to keep everything looking mint.

Glove and Shoe Combo
What's your style? Matching boot and glove color? Matching to the suit color? There is no right way, but there is a wrong way. Make sure you keep them clean and make sure the brands match. If you are rocking Alpinestar gloves, make sure you are rocking Astar boots.

Posture
Now some may say what that posture is, is debatable, but one thing for sure is that the Tony Kart factory drivers have it down pat. A few key points, do not hunch over, arms should be slightly bent, with your hands not too low or too high on the steering wheels. Finally do not lean into the corner!
