ANSA Motorsports becomes Charles Leclerc dealer and forms race team

pAnsa Motorsports, a recognized North American Road Racing Team based out of a 33,000 square foot facility in South Florida, have been running in IMSA and Pirelli World Challenge for the last decade. With the experience of both team owners, Alain Nadal and Patrick-Otto Madsen, their partnership has allowed to take the team to multiple victories and championships, namely in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge, and most recently runner up champions in the IMSA Prototype challenge.

“It was only natural for us that we expanded our program into kart racing,” says Madsen, who regularly competes in shifter karts.

ANSA Motorsports will now have an increased presence in the North American karting market, becoming a Charles Leclerc (CL) Kart dealer through BirelART North America. The ANSA Motorsports karting division will be headed up by multi-time champion Daniel Formal, local hotshot Allan Isambard, and Madsen, all set to debut the Leclerc product line at the first round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour.

“We are excited to welcome ANSA Motorsports to the BirelART family as well as Daniel Formal as their lead driver,” explains BirelART North America's Dominic Labrecque. “Danny is a veteran racer with a long list of results. He is determined to build the ANSA Motorsports karting operation. He's really matured and has become a great ambassador for the sport. His experience in the industry, success on a national level scale and determination for success is exactly what we have been looking for.”

ANSA Motorsports will offer Charles Leclerc chassis and component sales, storage, arrive and drive programs as well as additional trackside services including tent and transport, driver coaching, prep services and more.

“With Danny at the helm, we've set the bar really high, which keeps our crew and drivers sharp and striving for results. In addition to karting, we are pleased and have full confidence that Danny will be testing and running programs like IMSA's Prototype Challenge and Lamborghini Super Trofeo's series,” says Team Owner Patrick-Otto Madsen.

“The opportunity to work with ANSA Motorsports and develop their karting program is something that I am very motivated about,” adds Formal. “To be able to start this venture with the Charles Leclerc Kart and support from BirelART North America is unreal as all the pieces of the puzzle for success are in place. I am excited for the opportunity with BirelART.”
