CKR at Salbris: Always Tenacious
We are very satisfied with the work carried out by our racing team last weekend in Salbris where we raced the European Championship CIK FIA KZ and KZ2.
The 21° position of the championship awarded by our driver Lorenzo Giannoni is a solid result for a high-level race like this where only a few participants arrive for the Final.
The race consists in 5 round heats, starting every heat in the same position to obtain the scores that determinate the final grid.
Giannoni, sought to improve his position in the first qualifying heat, due to a contact he could not finish it. In QH2 achieves a 10°P, in the QH3 a 11°, a 10° in the QH4 and in the last QH after exceeded 12 positions finishes SECOND; showing that we found the competitive performance for the Final race.
In the Final, starting in a 31°P, as a result of QH average, Giannoni fought with used tires and a steering system failure (sniper) not allowing him to turn the go-kart with ease, in spite of these circumstances he endured with all his professionalism to improve to a 21P. Bravo Lorenzo!
In the same race, Giuseppe Fusco from Team Rendamotorsport debuted at the European level with our material, managed to keep the 5°row in the QH, unfortunately, failed to qualify for the final due to heat incidents forcing him to retire. Nonetheless Fusco demonstrated to be able to fight at this high level of competition.
