FIA Karting World Championship participants benefit from additional support
In order to maintain the ever-growing number of international entries, the FIA has agreed to grant a financial contribution to the travel of the entrants competing in the two categories.
The FIA will provide support to the OK and OK-Junior competitors of the 2019 FIA Karting World Championship, taking place between 6th and 8th of September in Alahärmä, Finland.

This further reiterates the FIA's commitment to supporting grassroots motor sport at the base of the pyramid.
A total sum of €80,000 will be distributed among participants traveling to the Powerpark Mika Salo Circuit Alahärmä, located 400 km north of Finland's capital city, Helsinki.
