FKC gets ready for critical championship Round 6 at Willow Kart Track
SoCal series previews the title fights at their penultimate championship round.
Southern California fastest growing karting series  Formula Karting Championship (FKC)  will be heading to the Willow Kart Track next Saturday for its penultimate championship round of the year. And much of the focus will be on the title fight that is set to intensify between SoCal's top racing superstars.
Michael Monaghan will arrive at Willow Kart Track on September 22nd as the championship leader in the KPV Senior class, but we are yet to find a bookmaker in North America willing to set Monaghan as favorite to the title as his advantage over Emmanuel Menendez is minimal  only 8 points.
The KPV Master class sees Patrick Lonnee captured 1871 points with Mark Tingley and MDG karting's Bryan Lempe trailing by 54 and 239 points, respectively.
In the Formula C class, the odds are very much in favor of Mitchell Delgado as he enjoys a commending lead with 1166 points  simply impressive!
TAG 100cc Senior is led by Henry Falls-Hand over Cesar Hernandez by 298 points. The fight for TAG 100cc Master class sees an extremely close fight between HRT Racing teammates, Chad Hawkins and Arman Cornell with only 57 points separating the two.
The SuperPro is a close fight between Derek Zimmerman and Erik Jackson with Zimmerman leading by only 135 points.
Shifter B open class is lead by Quintin Bineau, followed by Team Visalia's Raymond Velasquez with only 12 points separating the two.
Significant attendance is expected for the Shifter A class. Local Lancaster favorite Robby Heck already clinched the 2018 championship title  but next Saturday  he will have to face the 2018 National ROK Master Champion (Kalvin Chen) along with LAKC top contenders such as Adrian Yong, Zoli Sule and Sean Bond.
Additionally, Heck will have to face Team Visalia Racing Team as they are set to compete at Willow Kart Track, including its team leader (Darrell Tunnell) and six other factory pilots. This event is expected to attract other top shifter drivers as they prepare for the upcoming ROK THE RIO event in Las Vegas.
FKC will be awarding $1000 in cash prizes as well as tickets to compete at the ROK THE RIO  Joseph Danielle, Kevin Manning, Jake Drew, Alex Siragusa, Derek Zimmerman, Henry Falls Hands  are some of the drivers set to fight for these special awards.
