Leading Edge Motorsports and Praga add Deukmedjian for SuperNationals, 2019 season
National #1 makes switch to Praga chassis.
Forming a strong contingent for the annual Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals, IPK North America and Leading Edge Motorsports have inked a deal with National Champion, Arias Deukmedjian. Joining the multi-talented team for the 2018 SKUSA SuperNationals, Deukmedjian will continue his efforts throughout the 2019 racing season aboard a Praga chassis.
"I am pleased to have Arias rejoin us for the SuperNationals and next year," explains Greg Bell. "Arias is a great driver and he proved that with his national championship and multiple race wins in 2018. He now enters the SuperNationals with the National #1 plate, and we will be looking to help him finish the year on the top step of the podium Vegas."
Fresh off a championship winning season, Deukmedjian will re-enter the Junior ranks throughout North America. With a schedule yet to be finalized, the Merritt Island, Florida resident will see competition in at least the Florida Winter Tour, SKUSA Winter Series and Pro Tour as well as select European events. Making the switch to the Praga chassis, Deukmedjian will look to repeat as champion, as well as take Praga to the top in North America.
Bell continues, "We have a multi-year plan for Arias which will include a run at another national championship, a future move to the Senior ranks as well as events in both North America and Europe with multiple engine platforms."
Stay tuned for future news and driver announcements from IPK North America and Leading Edge Motorsports for all upcoming events in Las Vegas.
