Atlanta Motorsports Park announces new partnership with IPK Praga
Praga Karts has announced a new partnership with Atlanta Motorsports Park to expand its reach throughout the United States and Canada. Atlanta Motorsports Park, located in North Georgia, will become a strategic hub for the distribution of Praga Kart products throughout the territory as well as providing dealer support.
Established in 1907, Praga is one of the oldest car manufacturers in the world. Its karting division  trading as IPKarting SRL - continues to lead the pace both on and off the track. The partnership with Atlanta Motorsports Park is part of Praga's continued commitment to results both on the track.
Atlanta Motorsports Park has forged an enviable reputation among leisure seekers and kart enthusiasts for its exciting track layout that is unlike any other in the world. Designed by F1 architect Hermann Tilke, Atlanta Motorsports Park offers 43 feet of elevation change and is the only pro kart circuit in America built to CIK Level A/F1. A karting mecca for racers and enthusiasts of all ages, the track offers adrenaline seekers the chance to drive at speeds of more than 55 mph  almost twice the speed achieved at indoor tracks. Complementing its track is a state of the art kart retail and service center, viewing deck, covered pit lane area, entertainment space and members' lounge as well as a café and dedicated meeting rooms.
The new on site Praga service center will be ready to serve customers from September 2018. Praga's network of existing dealers will remain unchanged and will benefit from having a new logistical hub on US soil.
The US factory team, managed by Leading edge Motorsports, will work hand in hand with AMP to supply an East and West Coast presence.
Daniel Sliva, CEO IPKarting s.r.l said: “Praga is back and stronger than ever in the USA. This is a key market for us and we're excited to move forward in partnership with Atlanta Motorsports Park. Our plans for expansion are aggressive and having our main base at such an impressive facility will provide us with an excellent launch pad to grow both the US and Canadian market.â€ÂÂÂÂ
Jeremy Porter, CEO Atlanta Motorsports Park added: "Praga is a leader in kart racing and their production standards and attention to detail are second to none. Our goal is to raise the benchmark in the karting market to achieve the same high standards of product and service currently offered by the two wheel motorsports market. We aim to give customers what they need, when they need it and at a fair price. We will protect our dealers and their regions from the challenges they face with people selling out of garages. The kart industry is poised to take a step forward and we want to be part of that evolution.â€ÂÂÂÂ
Greg Bell, Owner Leading Edge Motorsports commented: “I am very pleased to welcome AMP to the IPK Praga family. IPK Praga is a company that stands behind everything it produces. The evolving rental kart line plus the Praga R1 car line will be perfectly complement Atlanta Motorsports Park's country club membership. We are excited to be the official IPK brand factory Race Team in America and will work hard to have factory supported racers at these events in 2019 including USPKS, Route 66 Florida Winter Tour and of course all the SKUSA Pro Tour Events as well as all the ROK Cup National Events.â€ÂÂÂÂ
