Leading Edge Motorsports readies for SuperNats 23
Ten driver squad will see action in eight classes at the prestigious Superkarts! USA SuperNationals.
Already victorious in the month of November in Las Vegas, Leading Edge Motorsports is returning to Sin City looking for more. Taking on the 23rd annual Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals on the grounds of the RIO All-Suite Hotel and Casino, Greg Bell's potent operation will enter a stout ten drivers in the quest to add to their 2019 win total.
"We had a great event a few weeks ago and were able to claim two big race wins on this exact parking lot," explains Bell. "While the event, tires, engine package and competition are different, we are building on that momentum and aim to close the season strong, spring boarding our results into sales and an even bigger and better program in 2020."
With ten drivers taking on the barrier lined circuit, the Lodi, California based operation will enter eight different classes throughout the five-day event. Leading the way into Las Vegas will be multi-time race winner and former SuperNationals Champion Daniel Formal. Competing in the ultra-fast KZ category with Vortex power and against some of the world's best, Formal will pilot a Formula K chassis, the same model that rocketed him to victory on a temporary circuit just two weeks ago. Mark Snyder will also see action aboard a Formula K chassis and in a gearbox class as he competes in the all new IAME 175SE division.
Leading Edge Motorsports newcomer Oliver Clavo will utilize the new 2020 Praga chassis in the KA100 class. Making the switch to the popular squad, Calvo has found instant success in testing and regional level events throughout the state of California.
A trio of drivers will enter the KA100 Junior class as two Americans and one New Zealander will throw their hats into the mix. Stephan Eisert will race aboard a Praga chassis while Cole Gamma will enter a Leading Edge Motorsports prepared Tony Kart. Making the long overseas trip, Logan Manson will also battle in the Junior 100cc class as all three aim for the top of the podium and the chance to call themselves a SKUSA SuperNationals Champion.
X30 Masters driver Jeff Rice will be the lone Leading Edge Motorsports entrant in the Masters class while Jona Marcusson will look to take his 2020 Praga to the top of the charts in X30 Senior. Making the trip from France to Las Vegas, Abramczyk Noam will battle in the talent filled X30 Junior category as he pilots a Formula K FK30 chassis while Matias Orjuela will fly the Leading Edge Motorsports colors in Mini Swift.
Bell added, "The SuperNationals is our last event of the season, and we are preselling all of our equipment. The goal is to come home with no karts in the trailer, only trophies. Team chassis can be purchased in advance or picked up in Las Vegas and all reasonable offers will be considered. This is your opportunity to pick up 2020 chassis at a fraction of the cost."
With the 2020 race season just around the corner, test and race team opportunities are available with Greg Bell and his established Lodi, California based company. Ready to serve up race wins and podium results, Leading Edge Motorsports has team openings for all events in 2020.
