The Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals signifies the unofficial end of the karting season but Crosslink Competition is showing no sign of slowing down. As a newer team in 2018 and only entering seven drivers in the prestigious SuperNationals last year, the Texas based program has doubled their entry list for 2019 as they hunt for race wins and podium results in Las Vegas.

Set to take place November 20th - 24th on a temporary circuit adjacent to the RIO All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, drivers will hit the track Wednesday for official practice before more official practice and qualifying on Thursday. Heat races and Last Chance qualifiers will take place on Friday and Saturday before champions are crowned on Super Sunday.

Crosslink Competition will enter four drivers in three different classes including the three tag divisions of X30 Junior, X30 Senior and X30 Masters. Esteban Masson, the 2019 Rotax National Champion from France, will make the long trek to Las Vegas to do battle in the talent filled X30 Junior class. Masson will join the Crosslink Competition regular and 2019 Texas ProKart Champion Alex Stanfield as well as Ryan Shehan and Dawson Svoboda.

X30 Senior will see the return of 2017 SKUSA SuperNationals winner and 2019 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda Champion Joshua Car. A threat for the victory in 2018, contact in the main event ruined his chances but he returns this year for another shot. Joining Car will be Crosslink Competition regulars Reilly Cann, Alejandro Jaramillo and Adrian Cruz, who will be competing in his first senior event.

Perennial frontrunner Derek Wang will throw his hat in the mix in X30 Masters and look to take the OTK chassis to the top of the charts. Jetsetting his way around the world competing in the ROK SuperFinal and the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, Wang will return to Las Vegas in the hopes to finish his season strong. Joining Wang will be Peruvian driver Armando Watson whose number one goal for the past three years has been to win the SKUSA SuperNationals, Miguel Mier and Gustavo Carrera.

Alejandro Jaramillo will be one of the busiest drivers of the weekend as he will be the sole entry under the Crosslinks tent that will be pulling double duty. Competing in the X30 Senior class in the afternoon, the driver from Texas will also do battle in KA100 Senior in the morning.

Focused only on the tag classes in 2019, Crosslink Competition will enter one driver across the Micro Swift class as Charlie Bradbury will fly the flag for the Texas based program.

"We are all working towards Las Vegas and the SKUSA SuperNationals. It is an event that comes up fast, but we are more than prepared," explained Crosslink Competition's Sean Owens. "The goal for some will be to simply make the show on Super Sunday while for others, it will to be able to call themselves the 2019 SuperNationals Champion. We will provide our customers with the best possible equipment and support as possible."

When the SuperNats ends, so does the 2019 season for Crosslink Competition, but the team will immediately springboard into the 2020 campaign. Drivers looking to compete with the elite level karting program or to pick up gently used team equipment, are asked to contact Sean Owens via email to [email protected].
