CKR Margutti Trophy: surf the wave in Lonato
Last weekend, Lorenzo Giannoni and the CKR team opened the 2018 season racing at the Circuit South Garda in Lonato, where competed in a soak 29° Andrea Margutti Trophy with 62 high-level drivers.
On Friday in the qualification testing, Giannoni in KZ2 achieves a 9 position of his group.
During the first qualifying race (QH1), with a wet circuit conditions managed to get a 4P but due to a penalty, ends 7th. In the second SD our pilot goes up five positions to finish in 6 th place, but with the wet tarmac also rained down on the penalties for inevitable contacts, again a penalty adds three positions and ends 9°.
On Sunday the rain does not prevent Giannoni with your fireball overcome seven positions to finish 11P in the Pre Final.
As a surfer who catches the wave good in the end our pilot recovered a position and ends up in the top ten with a remarkable 10P.
