Not having to travel far for the third and final event of the ROK Cup Promotions Florida Winter Tour, Speed Concepts Racing will compete at their home track of Orlando Kart Center this coming weekend. In the hopes to utilize track knowledge and experience as an advantage, four Speed Concepts Racing drivers will be aiming for the top step of the podium.

“It is a smaller than normal driver lineup for us but a mighty one,” explained Mike Speed, Owner of Speed Concepts Racing. “I feel really good about this upcoming weekend as we have done a lot of testing in Orlando and have a good baseline setup. The unofficial practice days will allow us to fine tune and search for the extra tenth or two.”

Tyler Gonzalez, winner of the ROK Junior division at the opening round in January, will be the lone SCR branded driver in Orlando and has a shot at the series title. A trio of Speed Concepts racing drivers will enter the Vortex Mini ROK division in Noah Baker, Paul Bocuse and Alex Powell.

Speed continued, “There is a big points increase this weekend so anything can happen. At the end of the weekend, we just have to perform and put ourselves in the position to win on Sunday.”

The third and final round of the ROK Cup Promotions Florida Winter Tour will place this coming weekend, March 16-18 at the Orlando Kart Center in Orlando, Florida.
